4 medium size potatoes in jackets
3 cups beef or chicken broth
2 T finely chopped onion
1 t celery seed
salt/pepper
2 chopped slice crisp bacon
1/3 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup water
2 T sugar
2 T finely chopped sweet or sour pickles

Directions:
Directions:
Boil potatoes in their jackets until tender. Cool slightly, peel, dice and set aside. Heat broth and add onion, celery seed, salt and pepper. Remove broth from heat and drop in potatoes, allowing to marinate in mixture for about 30 minutes. While they are marinating, fry bacon until crisp. Add vinegar, water, sugar and pickles. Uft potatoes from the broth and lay them in the skillet with the bacon mixture. Cover and cook slowly for about 5 minutes. Uft them out of the liquid, sprinkle with paprika and serve while hot.
