1/2 stick butter
1/4 cup flour
4 -5 Chicken Boullion cubes
1 tsp season-all
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp pepper
2 1/2 cup milk
2 cups cubed cooked chicken
1 8-oz can water chestnuts, drained
1 Tablespoon pimento (chopped)
2 Tablespoon green pepper

Melt butter in saucepan; blend in flour, boullion cubes, season-all, nutmeg and pepper. Cook over low heat until smooth and bubbly. Removed from heat and stir in milk. Bring to a boil and cook one minute, stirring constantly. Add chicken, water chestnuts, pimento, and green pepper. Reduce heat to low. Continue cooking 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over toast, rice or even waffles.
