Cupcakes: 1 package of your favorite devils food cake mix, ingredients as listed on cake package
Cream Cheese Filling: 1 8 oz. package of softened cream cheese, 1 egg, 1 dash salt, 1/3 c. sugar, 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix cupcakes a directed on package. 2. Fill cupcake cups in cupcake pan half full with cupcake batter. 3. Cream the cheese until smooth by mixing the ceram cheese, sugar, egg and salt in separate mixing bowl, may use an electric mixer. 4. Mix in the chocolate chips by hand using a wooden or plastic spoon or spatula. 5. Drop 1 tbls. of cream cheese mixture into each cupcake. 6. Bake according to directions. Cupcakes will rise around the filling. 7. Frost if you want, but I think they're better without.
