Any amount of whole prime rib roast. Season day before with your favorite beef seasoning (Johnny's Seasoning or Demitris)

Place roast in shallow pan - Do not cover- Do not add water. Place in a 375 oven for 1 hour then turn oven off for 2 hours - DO NOT PEEK! KEEP OVEN DOOR CLOSED! Return heat to 375 for 30 min (rare) or 45 min (med)

I have tried this method many times and have had great results. If someone wants their cut done more, have a skillet of au jus hot on the stovetop and place their cut into the au jus for a short time.
