2 lbs. fresh green, trimmed, or 2 lbs. frozen whole green beans
3 T. olive oil
to 1 T. blended Italian herbs
Kosher or sea salt to taste
c. lightly roasted slivered almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400F. Toss beans, olive oil, Italian herbs and salt together in a 15 x 10 inch baking pan with shallow sides. Roast the beans until tender and the edges begin to brown and crisp (about 20 minutes). Toss the beans with the toasted almonds and serve at once.
