Carrot Cake Recipe

1 1/2 cups cooking oil
3 cups flour, sifted
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups shredded or grated carrots
1 1/4 cups nuts
1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix and bake in a well greased and floured pan at 375 for 1 hour.
1 large pkg. cream cheese
1/2 stick margarine
2 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. box powdered sugar
Mix well and spread on cooled cake.
