2 1/4 cups cooked mashed sweet potatoes
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2/ tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. cloves
2 eggs (beaten)
2 5-1/2 oz cans of evaporated milk
2/3 cups milk
2 9" unbaked pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sweet potatoes and butter, mix until blended. Add combined sugar, flour, and spices; Mix well and blend in eggs and milk.
Pour into crust.

Bake at 425º for 10 minutes, reduce oven temperature to 350º, continue to bake 50 to 60 minutes or until knife inserts in middle and comes clean.

May substitue granulated sugar for brown sugar. Use half the amount when using brown sugar.
