Jimmy's Bread Pudding Recipe

1 (1 lb.) loaf white bread - I use Honey White
2 T butter
5 C half and half cream
12 eggs
3 C white sugar
3 T vanilla
2 pinches ground cinnamon
1 pinch ground nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Butter each slice of bread on both sides. Tear buttered bread into little pieces and put into a very large mixing bowl.

Beat eggs with vanilla, and then pour over bread. Stir in half and half and sugar. Pour into a large 9 X 13 baking dish. Sprinkle with spices.

Bake at 350º for 55 - 60 minutes. Remove from oven and cool. Serve warm.
