1 1/2 c. sugar
1 /2 c. oleo
2 eggs,beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnammon
1 1/2 tsp soda
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. applesauce
3 tbsp. sugar
6 oz. chocolate chips
1/2 c. nuts

Cream oleo,sugars,eggs and vanilla. Blend dry ingredents with creamed mixture and applesauce.Grease 9 x 13 x 2 pan. Add batter.Mix sugar ,chips and nuts, and sprinkle over top of cake. Bake 350 for 35 min or until done.
