1/3 cup instant potatoes
2/3 cup hot water
1/3 cup shortening
1-1/2 cup flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Measure potatoes in mixing bowl. Stir in hot water. Let stand until water is absorbed. Blend in shortening; stir together dry ingredients; add to potato mixture. Stir in milk. Turn dough onto floured cutting board and pat to desired thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 20 to 225 minutes, or until golden brown.
