2 packs (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
1 pack (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup powered sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract
1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling (or any other kind)

Glaze: 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 2-3 teaspoons of mile

Preheat Oven to 350º. Unroll crescents and separate into 16 triangles. Lay them out 8 in a circle to a large round stone, wide part inside then put the other eight with small points facing in so wide sections to not overlap each other.

Mix cream cheese powdered sugar, egg, vanilla, and spread over dough to within 1/2 inch of edges. Top with pie filling. Beginning in the center, lift one dough triangle across mixture-twist and lay down. Continue alternating with outer triangles (inside/outside - etc.)

Bake 25-30 minutes, cool slightly, make glaze and drizzle over top.
