3/4 to 1 head lettuce
1 pkg. sweet peas, thawed
1 c. chopped water chestnuts
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 to 1 c. chopped green onions
2 c. mayonnaise
2 T. sugar
1 to 2 c. grated Cheddar Cheese
bacon fried crisp and crumbled

Directions:
Directions:
Layer vegetables and water chestnuts in serving dish. Mix and spread the mayonaise and sugar over layered vegetables. Sprinkle the 1 to 2 cups of grated Cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.

Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
