6 tbsp. butter, divided
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
4 cups cornbread, crumbled
2 cups of buscuit, crumbled
1 tsp. salt
3 large eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 tsp. dried sage
1 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1/2 tsp. peper
2 to 3 tsp. poultry seasoning
2 cups chicken broth (less if desired)

Directions:
Melt 1/2 stick of butter in a sauce pan; add onion and celery and cook until veggies are tender. Remove from heat. Stir in cornbread, biscuits, eggs, sage and thyme, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper. Mix well, then add broth to moisten. Melt 2 tbsp. butter in 13X9 in. baking dish. Spoon dressing into baking dish. Bake uncovered at 350º for 45 min. or more.

This is old fashioned dresing flavor. You can use Jiffy cornbread mix for cornbread, also Grand biscuits if you don't have left over cornbread and biscuits.
