1 box Rice Chex
1 12 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. creamy peanut butter
1 box confectionery sugar divided
1 trash bag

Directions:
Directions:
Over warm heat melt chocolate chips. Add peanut butter and 1/2 box of confectionery sugar.

Pour box of Rice Chex in trash bag. Pour above chocolate mixture over Rice Chex and shake. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 box of confectionery sugar over Rice Chex and shake. Pour on a cookie sheet and refrigerate. Store in sealed container.

This recipe is from the original Canterbury Cookbook which I borrowed from Mrs. Garner. It was the first time I had ever heard of "trash." It sounded tasty and had a cute name so I tried it-- I munched on it day and night until it was gone! I have since learned that "trash" has a few other funny alternative names as well.
