Bourbon Balls

1 Box vanilla wafers ( 12 oz.)
3 cups chopped pecans
1 box 10-X powdered sugar
6 jiggers good Bourbon whiskey
6 tablespoons white Karo syrup


Directions:
Directions:
Crush vanilla wafers; combine with chopped nuts, cocoa, and sifter powdered sugar in a big bowl.
MIx together the Karo syrup and the Bourbon.
Pour these over the dry ingredients and stir thoroughly. If tostiff to work with let set for 1/2 hour in refrigerator.
Form into little balls about 3/4 inch in diameter and roll in additional powdered sugar.
Store in a tight tin. box. Let age about two weeks before serving.
