2 cans cashews chopped up fine
1 cup butter (2 sticks soft)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 3/4 cups sifted flour
confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, granulated sugar and vanilla. Add nuts and flour. Shape into balls and then "cigar shape" and bend into a cresent. Bake in preheated slow (325º) oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until bottom of cookie is light brown. In a few minutes, roll each cookie in confectioners sugar and cool. After 10 to 15 minutes roll on confectioners sugar again. First layer melts a little making the cookie sticky.
