Fresh Okra
cooking oil
corn meal
salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Wash okra good at least twice. Cut off ends and discard them. Cut okra pods into small pieces. Toss around with some salt and pepper. Sprinkle real good with dry corn meal. Heat your grease until very hot. Carefully drop a handful or two (depending on size of boiler using) into hot grease and fry until golden brown. Take up with slotted spoon and place on brown paper bag to drain.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Serve this hot. Wash okra is warm water.....as this will keep it from "biting" your hands too bad with the rough skin.
