6 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 tall can evaporated milk
1/2 gal. sweet milk
vanilla

***Grandmother and Granddaddy would many times peel and chop fresh peaches to add to their vanilla ice cream.

Beat eggs real well, add sugar and beat. Add evaporated milk and beat. Add desired amount of vanilla. Pour into 1 gal. freezer and finish filling with sweet milk. Freeze.

The original recipe was found in a newspaper clipping from the Dothan Eagle (December 3, 1969). It is tattered and worn and discolored, but can tell that it has been used many times and is marked with Grandmothers stamp of approval....."GOOD"
