9 oz all purpose flower, 3 oz cornstarch, 8 oz butter, and 4 oz
suggar

Directions:
Directions:
mix together lour and cornstarch. cream sugar and butter
tgether, then add flour mixture. knead well into a ball, then press
into a 12 x 7 baking tin, pierce well all over with a fork. bake at
300 f for 45 minutes until golden brown. remove from oven, and
close down. cut shortbread into around 20 pieces and sprinkle
with sugar. return to oven to dry out. allow a couple of hours if
possible.
