1 CUP FIG (GROUND OR CHOPPED FINE)
2 TABLESPOON BUTTER
1 EGG
2 1/2 CUP FLOUR
1/2 TEASPOON SALT
1 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
1/2 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
3/4 CUP SWEET MILK
1/4 CUP SOUR MILK ( 1 TABLESPOON LEMON
JUICE AND 1 CUP MILK.)
1 CUP NUTS (OPTIONAL)

MIX WELL AND PUT INTO 4X9 LOAF PAN THAT IS GREASED.

BAKE 350 FOR 1 HOUR AND 10 MIN.
