3 EGGS, SLIGHTLY BEATEN
1/2 CUP COARSELY CHOPPED NUTS
1 CUP MIXED CANDIED FRUITS AND PEELS
OR THE EQUIVLENT IN DATES OR
RAISINS.
1/4 CUP RAISINS
1 3/4 TEASPOOON BAKING POWDER
2 3/4 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
1/2 TEASPOON SALT
1 CUP MASHED RIPE BANANAS (2 OR 3)

BEAT SHORTENING UNTIL CREAMY, 2 MIN AT MED SPEED OON ELECTRIC MIXER. GRADUALLY ADD SUGAR, BEATING UNTIL LIGHT AND FLUFFY AFTER EACH ADDITION. ADD EGGS AND BEAT UNTIL THICH AND PALE LEMON IN COLOR. FOLD IN CHOPPED NUTS, CANDIED FRUITS AND RAISINS. SHIFT DRY INGREDIENTS. ADD ALTERNATELY WITH BANANAS. BLEND THOROUGHLY AFTER EACH ADDITION.

GREASE BOTTOM ONLY OF A LOAF PAN APPROX. 4X8 INCHES. TRUN BATTER INTO PAN.

BAKE 350º 1 JHOUR.
