The squash is called “Pattypan” or some people might call it “white scallop”

1 egg
1/4 cup milk
Cracker crumbs or bread crumbs
Salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cut pattypan squash into ½ -inch slices. Dip in a thin fritter batter and saute in a little butter or margarine until golden brown and tender.

FRITTER BATTER—
Beat the egg with the milk and seasonings. Dip the slices in the egg mixture, and then in crumbs
