1 (14 OZ. CAN) SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK
DASH OF SALT
1 1/2 TEASPOONS VANILLA EXTRACT
1/2 CUP CHOPPED NUTS, OPTIONAL

IN TOP OF DOUBLE BOILER, OVER BOILING WATER, MELT MORSELS WITH SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK. rEMOVE FROM HEAT; STIR IN REMAINTING INGREADIENTS. SPREAD EVENLY INTO WAX PAPER LINED 8 INCH SQUARE PAN. CHILL 2 HOURS OR UNTIL SET. tURN FUDGE ONTO CHTTING BOARD;PEAL OFF PAPER AND CUT INTO SQUARES. COVER AND STORE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE.
