1 cup Self Rising corn meal
2 heaping tbsp. flour
1 med. onion, chopped
2 eggs
1/4 cup oil
Buttermilk
Deep fat for frying

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients with just enough buttermilk for desired thickness. Drop into deep fat with a teaspoon (Dip the spoon in a glass of water before spooning up mix) Remove the hush puppies when brown and drain on a layer of paper towel.
