Rubs are great if you don't have time for a marinade. Throw this on pork, beef, chicken, tofu, or a portobello mushroom drizzled with olive oil. I wouldn't put in on a really nice cut of steak since it might overwhelm the inherent goodness of a piece of nice beef, but its great for a large cut that you serve sliced thin like a tri-tip or London broil.
