Romaine lettuce hearts
Slivered almonds
Chinese rice noodles (thin)
Pear or apple peeled and cut into small chunks
Gorgonzola cheese crumbled
Sweet onion sliced thin

Salad Dressing:
3/4 cup Colavita balsamic vinegar
3/4 cup Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Clean lettuce by removing top of heart (dark green part). Tear in small pieces of off stalk. Place in very cold water. Put lettuce into plastic bag with several paper towels in bottom. Place in refrigerator. This should be done at least 5 hours ahead.

Mix dressing and add to salad ingredients immediately before serving. Toss well.
