½ lb. bacon, cooked crisp then crumbled
4 T. margarine
2 c. cubed firm textured bread (day old French bread works great)
1 c. shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese
4 eggs
1 c. milk
4 tsp. dry mustard
¼ tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in 1 qt casserole dish (if doubling the recipe use a 9x12 cake pan). Add bread crumbs, sprinkle with cheese and toss well. In small bowl beat in eggs with milk and seasonings. Gently stir in egg mixture with bread and cheese mixture. Sprinkle with bacon. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes at 425 º F. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
