3 c flour,
2/3 c sugar,
1/2 tsp salt,
3 tsp baking powder,
1/2 c crisco,
1 egg,
1/2 c milk,
1/2 c water,

Directions:
Directions:
mix flour, sugar, salt and baking powder....cut in crisco ..beat 1 egg with milk...add to flour mixture... cut into biscuits. bake at 425 for 30 minutes

Mama also floured a surface and used a drinking glass to cut the biscuits into round shapes. she then used these as the base for her terrific strawberry shortcake!!!!
