2 cups light brown sugar
2/3c milk
dash of salt
4 tbps butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2c finely chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
combine sugar,milk,salt and butter in sauce pan. stir only until sugar dissolves. boil till soft ball stage. cool at room temperature and luke warm. add vanilla and nuts.
beat until mixture hold it's shape. quickly pour into a buttered 11x7x1 1/2 pan
cut into squares
