12 eggs
1 or 1 cups milk
or 1 cup chopped onion
1 lb. small pieces of ham or kielbasa*
10 slices bread, cubed
1 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped broccoli (optional)
Canned or fresh mushrooms

Mix eggs and pour into a 9 x 13 inch pan.
Add remaining ingredients.
Refrigerate for 24 hours (at least overnight).
Let sit at room temperature for 1 hour before baking.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
Very nice served with hashed-browned potato cakes (ready-made at grocers).
*Cooked bacon or breakfast sausage may be used for the meat.
