2 2/3 cups sugar
2/3 cups vegetable oil
4 eggs
1 15-16 oz can pumpkin
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
2/3 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp.cinnamon
3 1/3 c. flour
1 c. nuts (1 cups raisins optional).

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together: sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs.
Add and beat well: canned pumpkin, baking powder, baking soda, water, salt, ground cloves, and cinnamon.
Add flour. Stir well and add nuts (1 cup raisins optional).
Pour into 2 loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes.
