2 heads leaf lettuce
1/3 t salt
1/4 t pepper
1/3 t sugar
1/2 white onion, thinly sliced
1/4 c cider vinegar
2 T water
1/4 c vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces and toss with salt, pepper, sugar and onion. Warm oil and add vinegar and water, then bring to a boil. Pour over lettuce and serve.
