"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

First brown your hamburger meat. Then you cut up all of your vegetables. When you are done with that put your hamburger, vegetables, and tomatoes in a pot and mix them together. Personal Notes:
When my mama was little she used to help my grandma cook vegetable soup. When she was little, my mama didn't like vegetable soup but loved help making it. My grandma would let her help cut up the vegetables and mix everything together. Her brother and sister weren't aloud to help so that made her feel special too. My mama said that she enjoyed helping, but loved being able to spend quality time with her mother more. My mama loves vegetable soup now, and if I must say, she cooks the best vegetable soup ever. And now I get to help my mama cook vegetable soup.
