Tom's back ribs



Sauce:

1 cup of ketchup
3/4 cup of white vinegar
1/2 cup of water
2 tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of keens dry mustard - disolved in water
1 medium onion chopped
1 tablespoon chili powder

Ribs:

Cut ribs into 3 bone sections. Put into a roasting pan and sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic salt.
Cover with foil and bake at 425 F on a rack 1/3 of the way up, for 1 hour.
Open foil to release the steam.


Sauce:

Simmer 3/4 of an hour on the stove, pour over baked ribs and broil uncovered for about 4 minutes.
