1, 8 oz. can water chestnuts, drained
36 med raw shrimp, peeled
9 slices bacon cut into 4 pieces
1/3 c. bbq sauce
1/3 c. apricot fruit spread
1 tbsp. fresh grated ginger
1 tbsp. cider vinegar
1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes

Directions:
Preheat boiler. Place 1 water chestnut on top of each shrimp.
Wrap 1 piece of bacon around shrimp and secure w/ wooden toothpick.
Repeat w/ rest
Line broiler pan w/ foil; insert boiler rack. Coat rack w/ nonstick cooking spray. Place shrimp on rack.
Combine remaining ingredients in small bowl. Brush sauce evenly over shrimp.
Broil 2 mins, turn. Baste and broil 1 min more/ until edges of bacon brown.
