Bacon Bundled BBQ Shrimp Recipe

16 large shrimp (not jumbo) raw, peeled, deveined, and tails removed

8 slices of bacon (halved width-wise)

1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

BBQ brush

Toothpicks

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 425°F

Pour BBQ sauce into a small bowl and use a BBQ brush to apply it.

Lightly spray the baking sheet or *use parchment paper for easier cleanup

Assemble the shrimp on the parchment-lined baking sheet as follows:

Take ½ slice of bacon and coat it in sauce.

Wrap the bacon around a shrimp, insert the toothpick to hold it in place then place it seam-side down on a baking sheet. Repeat for remaining shrimp.

Bake in a pre-heated oven until the shrimp is cooked thoroughly and the bacon is crispy. 10-15 minutes
