4 large portobello mushrooms
1# ground beef
½ onion, diced (1 cup)
1½ tsp. kosher salt
1½ tsp. black pepper
1 tbsp. garlic-herb seasoning
⅓ cup BBQ Sauce
1⅓ shredded cheddar ( or whatever cheese you like best) reserve ⅓
4 slices thick-cut bacon , cut in half.

350º

Remove stems ad gills from mushrooms, season with EVOO, salt and pepper

In a medium bowl, combine beef, onion, salt, pepper, garlic-herb seasoning, bbq sauce and 1 cup cheese.

Divide mixture into 4, pat each ball into each mushroom cap.

Crisscross the tops with 1 slice of each piece of bacon

Brush tops w/ bbq sauce top w/ reserved ⅓ cup cheese

Bake 350º for 25 minutes or until preferred doneness

Can also grill until done ( that is what we do)
