1½ t. salt
¼ t. pepper
½ c. ketchup
¼ c. vinegar
½ c. finely chopped onion
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1½ t. liquid smoke
1 crumbled bay leaf

Directions:
Directions:
Rub 4 to 5 lb. brisket with salt and pepper and place in ungreased baking dish 13½" x 9" x 2". Stir together remaining ingredients. Pour over meat and cover tightly. Bake in 325º oven or cook outside in smoker until desired tenderness.
