4 lbs beef or pork ribs
2 lemons sliced thin
2 cups Barbecue sauce
1 large white onion sliced thin

Directions:
Directions:
Bring ribs to boil in pan. Turn to simmer for 40 minutes. Drain, arrange in 13x9x2" pan.Cover with barbecue sauce and let stand over night or 8-10 hours. When ready to bake, arrange sliced lemons and onions over top. Bake 350º oven for 1 hour.
 

Barbecue Sauce


Ingredients:

4 cups ketchup- 2, 24oz bottles
1/2 cup cider vinegar
2 Tbsp chili powder
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 bay leaves
2 cups finely chopped onions
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 cup butter or oleo
6 garlic cloves, crushed
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp liquid smoke
4-1/2 cups beer- 4 12 once cans

Combine all ingredients in large pot, bring to boil. Reduce heat, simmer 1 hour. Remove bay leaves. Makes 10 cups. Can be refrigerated from 1 month to 6 weeks.
