BBQ Chicken Sliders

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (3 lbs)
1 batch Smoky BBQ Sauce, or 1 bottle store-bought BBQ sauce
1 bag buns

Directions:
Directions:
Put the chicken and BBQ sauce in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours until the chicken is cooked through and shreds easily.

Use two forks to shred the chicken in the slow cooker, and toss it once more so that it soaks up the remaining juices.
 

Smoky BBQ Sauce


Ingredients:

2 cups ketchup
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp smoked paprika
black pepper, to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Put all the ingredients for the sauce in a small pot and cook over medium-low heat until the sauce thickens and the flavors combine, about 20 minutes. Transfer to a glass container and store in the fridge for up to a week.
