1 flank steak
2 tsp sesame oil
salt pepper
1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp honey
1 Tbsp Mirin (optional)
1 Tbsp garlic minced
1 tsp ginger minced
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Slice your Flank steak across the grain.
Mix up all the ingredients in a bowl and marinade the steak at a minimum of 30 minutes.
Grill to desired temperature.
(you may skewer if you would like to)

Amy's Notes: I love having this on hand so when I buy my meat, I marinade one right away and then cut up some, put it in a marinade and throw it into the freezer in a ziploc bag. That way I just take it out the day I want to cook it and it will marinade in the juices while it thaws. Mom claims the flavor is more intense this way, but I still love it.
