2 Tbls. br. sugar
1 Tbls. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 lbs. beef brisket
2 1/2 c. beef broth
3 Tbls. molasses
2 Tbls. Worchestershire sauce
3 dashes liquid smoke
3 Tbls. cornstarch
1 Tbls. vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine br. sugar, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt and pepper.
Rub onto brisket. Place in slow cooker.

Whisk broth, molasses, Worchetershire sauce, and if desired, liquid smoke.
Add to slow cooker.

Cook on high for 6 hours or low for 8 hours.
Remove brisket and shred with fork.

In small bowl, combine 1/4 c. water, cornstarch, and vinegar. Strainliquid in cooker. Put in saucepan.
Add cornstarch mix. Bring to a boil. Cook 3 min until thick and clear. Mix slow cooker sauce with the brisket. Let stand covered 15 min.
