1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup ketchup
1/3 cup chili sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons chopped onions
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
salt
dash of bottled hot pepper sauce

Directions:
Directions:
In saucepan, melt butter, add onion and sauté until soft. Add garlic. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes.

If using this sauce with shredded meat (two chuck roasts or one sirloin tip that are covered and cooked at 220º for several 4+ hours), you should use around 6 times the amount of sauce. Add some of the juice from the cooked meat to the sauce.

Also use 6 x the amount for 5 lbs. of chipped ham.
