3 to 3½ pounds pork ribs
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
1 large onion, sliced
2 (16 ounce) jars barbecue sauce
⅓ cup maple syrup
2 tbsp. packed brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper. Place ribs on cookie sheet. Place under broiler 15 minutes to brown. Drain. Cut ribs into serving pieces. Place onions in slow cooker. In medium bowl, combine barbecue sauce, syrup and sugar. Mix well. Arrange ribs over onions. Pour mixture over ribs. Cover. Cook on low 8 to 10 hours.
