Pork Spare Ribs
2 T of butter 1/2 c of finely chopped onion
1 clove of garlic minced 1/4 c finely copped celery
1/2 c finely chopped green peppers 1/4 c cold water 1/4 c brown sugar
1 T corn starch 1/4 c of vinegar
1 c pineapple juice 1.5 T soy sauce
1/2 cup water 2 chicken bouillon cubes

Heat oven 450 cut ribs to serve size pieces. Lay in shallow roast pan in single layer and bake 30 min. Melt butter in pan. Add onions, garlic, celery & green pepper and cook gently until almost tender. Measure cold water add cornstarch blend until smooth. Blend into batter mixture stir constantly. Add pineapple juice, water and bouillon cubes stir until boiling. Stir in brown sugar, vinegar and soy sauce. Spread drained ribs with sauce. Cover loosely. Bake 30 minutes at 350. Remove cover, bake 30 min more. Stir occasionally. Serve over steamed rice.
