Directions:
Ribs are a pretty versatile meat.
One way to make them is: Cut ribs apart into serving size pieces. Put on a cookie sheet. Salt and pepper each piece. Place seasoned ribs in a big pot and cover with water. Depending on how many you are making add one or two bottles of liquid smoke. Also put 3 t salt in the water. Place on stove top and bring to a boil. Simmer for several hours or til ribs are tender. Pour off water and: return to cookie sheet, spread generously with bbq sauce and bake for 30 minutes at 350º. Serve immediately. OR pour sauce over, put in large zip lock bags and put on the grill the next day. OR go back to the part where you have seasoned cut ribs with s and p and put in crockpot with onion and bay leaf and cook all day til tender. Then put in oven, or pizza oven, or on grill to bake with barbecue sauce. Make alot as they are really good left over.

Personal Notes:
These ribs were always Mark's favorite dinner. They are worth taking the time to make them tender. They are always a big hit.
