Ingredients:  
1 medium onion (chopped)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 stick butter
1 1/2 cups cider vinegar
1 1/2 cups ketchup (more if you like the sauce more tomatoey)
1 cup dark brown sugar (more if you like it sweeter)
A few good squeezes of yellow mustard
2 tbsp Horseradish sauce
1 tbsp Worcester sauce
1/2 lemon squeezed and left in sauce

Directions:

Melt butter in a sauce pan.
Add onion and garlic
Cook until onion is soft but don't brown.

Add remaining ingredients and stir well while bringing to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until thickened a bit.

Use what you need and store remaining in frig.

I made ribs for dinner one night and Clyde was making yummy sounds and smacking his lips. He commented on how much he liked the "gravy" hence aka Clyde's Gravy. I find that charming.
