6 lbs. country style ribs
Liquid smoke
Brown sugar

BBQ SAUCE:
2-1/2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup vinegar
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2-1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
3/4 tsp. red pepper
3/4 tsp. chili powder
2 Tbsp. minced onion

Directions:
Directions:
Put ribs in oven at 400º for 15 minutes each side to get rid of fat.

Night before pour 1/3 bottle of liquid smoke over ribs, sprinkle generously with brown sugar. Cover with foil, refrigerate. (Have done this a couple of hours before cooking if time is a factor).

Mix remaining ingredients to make BBQ sauce. Heat to a slow boil. Pour sauce over ribs, cover pan with foil. Bake 5 hrs. at 325º.
