1 (4 lb) beef rump roast
2 Cups BBQ sauce
1 Cup root beer
Dash S & P

Directions:

Spray crock pot with Pam. Put roast in crock pot. Mix 1.5 c BBQ sauce & the root beer pour over meat cover & cook on low 10-12 hrs or high 5-6 hours.
About 20 mins before serving, remove beef. Pour juices in sauce pan & cook over medium heat about 15 mins until juice is thickened & reduced to about 3 cups. Shred beef. Return to crock pot, stir in remaining 1/2 cup BBQ sauce into reduced juices. Pour over shredded beef, stir in s& p to taste.

Serve on hamburger buns or bulky rolls!

We prefer bulky rolls or crusty type as hamburger rolls tend to get soggy faster.
