4 Tbsp mixed pickling spice
6 cups water
1⅓ bottles of barbecue sauce
4 tsp dry mustard.
3 pounds spareribs

Directions:
For barbecue sauce: Boil water and pickling spice together; strain. Add barbecue sauce and dry mustard.

Have 3 pounds of spareribs cut into serving pieces; place in shallow baking pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Roast in moderate 350º oven for 1½ hours. Baste with barbecue sauce mix twice during the last hour of roasting until tender.
